Roae Votes for Budget Bill that would Reduce Spending
4/4/2017
HARRISBURG – Rep. Brad Roae (R-Crawford/Erie) today in Harrisburg issued the following statement after voting for the budget bill that was approved by the state House:

“This fiscally responsible budget would cut spending to bring it in line with expected revenues. Pennsylvania state government has to get spending under control in order to avoid tax increases.

“It’s important to note approximately 60 percent of the specific appropriations eliminated in this budget were actually proposed by the governor.

“Many Pennsylvania families have been forced to reduce spending in their personal budgets in recent years. It makes sense for state government to follow the example of the people we serve.”
