Quinn Issues Statement on Signing of Landmark Domestic Violence Protection Bill
10/12/2018
HARRISBURG – Rep. Marguerite Quinn (R-Bucks), author of House Bill 2060, issued the following statement this afternoon after learning of the governor’s intent to sign the bill today:

“I’m thrilled to learn that Gov. Tom Wolf is signing my House Bill 2060 this afternoon. His very busy schedule does not permit him to participate in a public signing until Nov. 14. I look forward to standing with him to celebrate this hard-fought victory for victims of domestic violence.”

Once signed, House Bill 2060 will protect victims of domestic violence by toughening the parameters for the relinquishment of firearms in situations in which individuals have been convicted of domestic violence or have gone through due process following the filing of a final Protection from Abuse (PFA) order.
