HARRISBURG – A task force to address Pennsylvania transportation infrastructure needs commissioned by House leadership and Transportation Committee chairman Tim Hennessey (R-Chester/Montgomery) reported their findings on Wednesday.
“We are making exceptional changes in our transportation infrastructure not just in one area of Pennsylvania, but the entire Commonwealth, and I can assure that these transformations will have significant lasting impacts,” said Hennessey.

Hennessey joined leadership and the task force, composed of 10 House Republican members, to express their concerns about the future transportation needs in Pennsylvania. Hennessey thanked the task force for sharing their visions about upcoming legislation and its potential to better invest our taxpayers’ dollars.
The task form was formed after the Pennsylvania Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) held a study regarding the existing levels of transportation funding and its use pertaining to current statewide concerns and the need to redeploy resources.
“This task force has been working hard to provide better solutions and uses of our tax dollars, and I am thrilled to witness its proposals come to life,” said Hennessey.
