HARRISBURG – Rep. Perry Stambaugh (R-Perry/Cumberland) took the oath of office Tuesday to begin his first term in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
Stambaugh’s goals for the 2021-22 Legislative Session include supporting rural families through initiatives like expanding high-speed internet service, advocating for legislative term limits, eliminating property taxes being used for school funding and adjusting the method by which state appellate judges are elected.
“I know there are going to be challenges this year related to the COVID-19 pandemic and economic downturn. I want to do all that I can to support small business owners across Pennsylvania as they try to mitigate their losses,” Stambaugh said.
Stambaugh maintains district offices at 18 W. Main St., New Bloomfield, and 81 Walnut Bottom Road, Shippensburg.
