            WHAT:	The House Education Committee, chaired by Rep. Curt Sonney (R-Erie), will hold a voting meeting to consider three proposals on a variety of education topics. They include measures that would provide an additional year of school for a student who is aging out of special education (
House Bill 1446); establish an accelerated learning program for students following the COVID-19 pandemic (
House Bill 1533); and revise school board of directors’ temporary emergency powers (
House Bill 1660).
