HARRISBURG – Rep. Jack Rader (R-Monroe) took the oath of office on Tuesday, Jan. 3, for his second term in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. He was joined at the Capitol ceremony by his family.

“It is an honor to once again represent the great people of the 176th Legislative District. During the 2015-16 session, we faced significant challenges. This gave me the opportunity to work on many different issues, including the budget impasse, the opioid crisis and liquor privatization. I look forward to seeing progress on property tax reform this year, which is the most important issue facing our area. As a lifelong resident of Monroe County, I remain steadfast in my commitment to represent our values in Harrisburg,” said Rader.

Rader represents the 176th District in Monroe County, which includes the townships of Chesnuthill, Eldred, Jackson, Pocono, Polk, Tobyhanna and Tunkhannock; and the borough of Mount Pocono.
