House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee to Examine PA’s CO2 and Climate

WHAT: PA House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee Chairman Daryl Metcalfe (R-Butler) will convene a public hearing focusing on Pennsylvania’s CO2 and climate.

The Chairman anticipates a healthy analysis of ongoing and proposed climate change initiatives and intends to assess their necessity and prospects for success.

WHO: The hearing will feature presentations from Department of Environmental Protection Secretary Patrick McDonnell and representatives from the Commonwealth Foundation, Heritage Foundation, PA Environmental Council, PennEnvironment, PennFuture, Sierra Club, as well as respected professors and researchers.

WHEN: Monday, Oct. 28, 8 a.m.

WHERE: Room G-50, Irvis Office Building, State Capitol Complex, Harrisburg.
