Committee to Vote on Bills to Help, Honor Veterans, First Responders
WHAT: Rep. Stephen Barrar (R-Chester/Delaware), chairman of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, will hold a voting meeting this week to consider legislation aimed at helping veterans and their families transition from military to civilian life; establish a Sept. 11, 2001, Day of Remembrance; and establish September 2020 as Military Service-Related Post-Traumatic Stress Injury Awareness Month” in Pennsylvania.
