Stephens to Host Hearing on Confidentiality and Protecting Children in Abuse Cases

WHAT: Rep. Todd Stephens (R-Montgomery) will host the House Children and Youth Committee for a hearing on confidentiality and protecting children in abuse cases at school following a North Penn student’s lawsuit accusing school officials of failing to protect her from sexual assault.

WHO: Testifying will be Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer; Ed McCann, First Assistant District Attorney, Montgomery County; Scott Bendig, chief of police, Montgomery Township; William Daly, chief of police, Horsham Township; Christopher Ward, chief of police, Whitemarsh Township; Tim Troxel, chief of police, Towamencin Township; Brian D. Kent, Esq.; William J. Zee, Esq.; Jon Rubin, Department of Human Services deputy secretary; and Brian Bornman, Pennsylvania Children & Youth Administrators Association.
