Committee to Consider Four Education Bills
WHAT: The House Education Committee, chaired by Rep. Curt Sonney (R-Erie), will hold a voting meeting to consider four proposals on a variety of education topics. They include measures that would require a school entity to post and update all curriculum offered by a school entity on its publicly accessible internet website (
House Bill 1332); increase the number of schools/students eligible to participate in the Economically Disadvantaged Schools program (
House Bill 1642); provide for comprehensive Charter School Law reforms (
House Bill 1685); and update provisions of the Charter School Law related to reconciling payments due from school districts (
House Bill 1892).
