House Leaders Statement on Fort Littleton Toll Shooting

HARRISBURG – House Speaker Mike Turzai (R-Allegheny County), Majority Leader Dave Reed (R-Indiana County) and Majority Whip Bryan Cutler (R-Lancaster County) issued the following statement regarding the Fort Littleton toll exchange shooting today:

“A terrible tragedy occurred at the Fort Littleton toll exchange today. While we may never fully understand what drove the suspect to commit this heinous crime, our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of the murdered victims -- turnpike employee Danny Crouse, husband of Denise Crouse in Rep. Jesse Topper’s district office, and retired York City police officer Ronald Heist.

“We are all saddened by this terrible act and offer our deepest condolences.”
