Human Services Committee to Hear from Families of Loved Ones with Disabilities

WHAT: The House Human Services Committee, chaired by Rep. Gene DiGirolamo (R-Bucks), will hold a public hearing to learn more about the challenges faced by families who care for loved ones with disabilities.

WHO: DiGirolamo and members of the Human Services Committee. Those expected to share their experiences will include parents from Allegheny, Bradford, Montgomery, Pike, Philadelphia and York counties; and officials with the Office of Developmental Programs, Institute on Disabilities at Temple University, Pennsylvania Waiting List Campaign, the Arc of Pennsylvania, Arc of Greater Pittsburgh/ACHIEVA and Pennsylvania Waiting List Policy.

WHEN: Monday, March 21, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

WHERE: G-50 Irvis Office Building, Capitol Complex, Harrisburg.
