English Receives Committee Appointments, Cited for Perfect House Session Attendance

Rep. Hal English is presented with a perfect attendance citation for the 2013-14 House session. The presentation is made by House Majority Whip Rep. Bryan Cutler (R-Lancaster). 
HARRISBURG
– Rep. Hal English (R-Allegheny) today said he has returned to serve on the House Education, Aging and Older Adult Services, Tourism and Recreational Development and Game and Fisheries committees for the 2015-16 session. Additionally, English received an award citing his perfect attendance in the 2013-14 legislative session.

English was named to the post of chairman of the Subcommittee for Programs and Benefits for the House Aging and Older Adult Services and appointed to the Subcommittee for Basic Education on the House Education Committee.

“I am pleased with these appointments and am honored to accept the deputy chair positions,” said English. “These are vital positions that allow me to represent the residents of the 30th Legislative District effectively, and give me a strong influence in the business of these committees.”

English was also reappointed as deputy whip for the House Republican Caucus.

English was also given a citation for his perfect attendance and expressed gratitude for the support he receives.

“I am proud to represent my district and will continue to work hard to do what is necessary in keeping the best interests of the residents in mind and that starts with being on the job each day,” said English. “I am grateful to have a supportive family who takes care of business on the home front while I am in Harrisburg for voting session and committee meeting days.”
