Rep. Rosemary Brown begins her fifth term as the state representative for the 189th Legislative District. |
HARRISBURG – Rep. Rosemary M. Brown (R-Monroe/Pike) was sworn in on this New Year’s Day as a state representative along with her other House colleagues. This marks Brown’s fifth legislative term with the House of Representatives after first being sworn-in in 2011. Brown also was appointed as the deputy whip as well as deputy policy chairwoman of the Republican Majority Policy Committee.
“It truly is an honor to continue to serve as the state representative for the 189th Legislative District,” said Brown. “As this new term begins, it is my goal to support strong government initiatives that meet the needs of my constituents. I will be focused on legislative goals that work towards measures to help alleviate the large burden of school property taxes, including funding formulas, cyber charter school reimbursements, spending controls, economic development and more. I will also be focused on reducing distracted driving behaviors, improving financial literacy for our students, private community living issues and education and many other concerns. Lastly, I will travel the state and work closely with the Majority Policy Committee to help create new policies that will help benefit and protect those residing in this Commonwealth.”
Brown’s East Stroudsburg district office is open and available to help with any constituent’s state-related needs. They are located at 143 Seven Bridge Road, East Stroudsburg and are open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The best methods of contact are by phone, 570-420-8301, or by filling out a contact form on my website
