WHAT: Lawmakers from across the state will travel to Delaware County to hear from experts and advocates on safe pipeline development.

Led by House Majority Policy Committee Chairman Kerry Benninghoff (R-Centre/Mifflin) and hosted by Rep. Chris Quinn (R-Delaware), the legislative hearing will educate state legislators on safety concerns surrounding Mariner East 2, pipeline construction standards and the state rules and regulations in place to ensure the public and environment are protected during all stages of development.

WHO: Benninghoff, Quinn and legislators from across the state.

Testifiers will include: Eve Miari, Clean Air Council; Vice Chairman Andrew Place, Public Utility Commission; Secretary Patrick McDonnell, Department of Environmental Protection; Tim Boyce, Delaware County Emergency Services; and Sam Marshall, Insurance Federation of Pennsylvania.

WHEN: Tuesday, July 17, from 1-3:30 p.m.
