Stender to Host License Plate Replacement Event on April 25

HARRISBURG – Rep. Michael Stender (R-Northumberland/Montour) today reminded vehicle owners that if their license plate is difficult to read, a replacement plate is available for free. To help facilitate the process to turn in the illegible plate for a new one, Stender is hosting an event on Thursday, April 25.

Grimm Krupa Introduces Resolution Banning House Members with Active Arrest Warrants from Remote Voting

HARRISBURG – Rep. Charity Grimm Krupa (R-Fayette) said Wednesday she is circulating a co-sponsorship memo for legislation that would amend the House General Operating Rules to prohibit a House member from voting remotely if he or she is incarcerated or if there is an active warrant for their arrest. This comes after House Democrats pushed through a party-line vote allowing Rep. Kevin Boyle (D-Philadelphia) to vote by designation because he has filed a form, even though there is a warrant out for his arrest.

House Approves Mako Motorcycle Bill to Allow Headphones

Wentling Announces $40,000 to Support Mercer County Food Bank’s MilitaryShare Program

HARRISBURG – Rep. Parke Wentling (R-Mercer) announced today the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) has awarded the Mercer County Food Bank $40,000 to support its MilitaryShare program. This program provides nine annual private food distributions for veterans and military personnel and their families at designated sites throughout Mercer County. It currently serves more than 600 individuals.
