The acquisition of this building and property is the first step in the long-term goal of developing a mixed-use community center, which could include recreation, arts and culture. The future complex will house administrative offices, a large multi-use room for meetings, activities, programs for all ages and a gymnasium/auditorium. Additionally, the building will offer multiple human services such as a food pantry, community shed and emergency shelter.
