HARRISBURG – Legislation authored by Rep. Carrie Lewis DelRosso (R- Allegheny/Westmoreland) has been signed into law by Gov. Tom Wolf. Act 9 of 2022, known as the Early Detection and Diagnosis of Alzheimer’s or a Related Disorder Act, sheds more light on cognitive diseases and creates a structure to unite patients and health care providers around cognitive concerns that will lead to an earlier diagnosis of the disease.

Ryan Says Wolf’s $43.7 Billion Budget Plan is Not Based in Reality

HARRISBURG -- In his annual state budget address today, Gov. Tom Wolf proposed a $43.7 billion budget for fiscal 2022-23, which would increase state spending by a whopping $6.2 billion or 16.6%. That’s $17 million more a day than the current budget. The governor’s budget also proposes to spend the balance of the federal pandemic funding it received.
