York County House Republican Delegation Applauds Wolf for Ending Union Intimidation Tactics
11/6/2015
HARRISBURG - The York County House Republican Delegation thanks Gov. Tom Wolf for signing House Bill 874, now Act 59 of 2015, which ends the exemption for union members and management involved a labor dispute from being charged with crimes of harassment, stalking and threat to use weapons of mass destruction.

State Reps. Seth Grove (R-Dover), Kate Klunk (R-Hanover), Kristin Phillips-Hill (R-York Township), Mike Regan (R-Dillsburg), Stan Saylor (R-Red Lion), and Keith Gillespie (R-Hellam) issued the following statement:

“We’d like to offer our thanks to Governor Wolf for finally putting an end to strong-arm union intimidation tactics in Pennsylvania and balancing the scales in organized labor disputes. For far too long, union members have been taking advantage of this loophole to terrorize and harass company management when engaged in a contract dispute. Union members have a constitutional right to express their opinions to management, but these crimes crossed the line. His signature will put an end to these intimidation tactics and closes that loophole.”
