WHAT: The Pennsylvania EMS Provider Foundation and the state Department of Health’s Bureau of EMS will host the eighth annual EMS Memorial Service to honor and remember EMS personnel who died in the line of duty. Reps. Martin Causer (R-Cameron/McKean/Potter) and Mark Gillen (R-Berks/Lancaster), secretary of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, are among the scheduled speakers for the event.
WHO: Causer; Gillen; Dylan Ferguson, director, Bureau of EMS, PA Department of Health; Doug Garretson, chairman, Pennsylvania EMS Provider Foundation; and representatives of EMS agencies from across the state.
WHEN: Monday, Sept. 10, at 1 p.m.
