WHAT: PA House State Government Committee Chairman Daryl Metcalfe
(R-Butler) will convene a second public hearing to receive testimony and investigate concerns of alleged regulatory overreach by the Susquehanna River Basin Commission. These include duplicative testing, excessive fees and fines on local municipalities and businesses, as well as the disregard of the professional opinions of Pennsylvania licensed hydrologists and engineers.

WHO: The hearing will feature presentations by Rep. Kristin Phillips-Hill
(R-York); Andrew Dehoff, executive director, Susquehanna River Basin Commission; and representatives from Shepstone Management Company, Pennsylvania Turfgrass Council, Shrewsbury Borough Council, Middlesex Township Municipal Authority, East Hempfield Township Municipal Authority, and East Berlin Area Joint Authority.
