WHAT: State Rep. Kristin Phillips-Hill (R-York Township) and fellow members of the House State Government Committee will hold a public hearing to examine claims of questionable activity by the Susquehanna River Basin Commission (SRBC). Testifiers will discuss SRBC actions that have led to higher-than-expected customer water bills and wasting of taxpayer dollars through excessive fees and repetition of services.

WHO: Testifying before the committee will be SRBC Executive Director Andrew Dehoff, and representatives from southcentral Pennsylvania municipalities. The list includes Shrewsbury Borough Council President Richard “Buck” Buchanan.

WHEN: Monday, June 26, 9 a.m.

WHERE: Shrewsbury Borough Municipal Building, 35 W. Railroad Ave., Shrewsbury.
