State Legislators to Host Public Hearing on Property Tax Elimination Bill

WHAT: State Reps. Rosemary M. Brown (R-Monroe/Pike) and Marcia Hahn (R-Northampton) will host a public hearing on House Bill 2329, their legislation that would allow school districts to exclude up to 100 percent of a homeowner’s school property tax bill.

WHO: In addition to Brown and Hahn, testifiers will include representatives from local school districts and the County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania.

WHEN: Thursday, Sept. 6, 10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

WHERE: Monroe County Office of Emergency Management, 100 Gypsum Road, Stroudsburg.
