WHAT: Rep. Gene DiGirolamo (R-Bucks), chairman of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) Legislative Oversight Committee, will hold a public hearing on student transfers and athletic classification, along with a discussion on the pros and cons of holding separate championships for public and private schools.

WHO: DiGirolamo and other committee members of the 2017-18 session, including Reps. Mike Reese (R-Westmoreland) and Robert F. Matzie (D-Beaver) and Sens. Joseph Scarnati (R-Jefferson), Robert Tomlinson (R-Bucks) and Jay Costa (D-Allegheny). Those offering testimony will be representatives from the PIAA, the Pennsylvania Catholic Conference and Mike Williams, former head football coach, Manheim Central High School.

WHEN: Tuesday, June 20, 9 a.m.
