WHAT: Rep. Tim O’Neal (R-Washington) will host a working roundtable to discuss current efforts, and also potential future strategies, to put an end to the state’s deadly opioid epidemic. The roundtable will be co-led with House Majority Policy Committee Chairman Kerry Benninghoff (R-Centre/Mifflin).
In addition to lawmakers, participants in the roundtable will include regional emergency responders, law enforcement, medical professionals, community advocates and treatment professionals. The public is invited to attend and listen to the discussion.
WHEN: Thursday, Sept. 6, from 10 a.m. to noon.
