WHAT: Rep. Ryan Warner (R-Fayette/Westmoreland) and House Majority Policy Committee Chairman Kerry Benninghoff (R-Centre/Mifflin) are hosting a hearing on welfare reform efforts in the Commonwealth, including qualification and access to programs, as well as tackling waste, fraud and abuse.

WHO: Benninghoff, Warner and other members of the policy committee. Testifiers will include Sam Adolphsen, senior fellow with the Foundation for Government Accountability and former COO at the Maine Department of Health and Human Services; Jim Stark, CEO of Fayette County Community Action; Chip Rowan, executive director, Community Ministries; Matthew Crutchman, executive director, East End United Community Center; and Becky Ambrosini, Circles.
