WHAT: Rep. Steve Barrar (R-Chester/Delaware), chairman of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, will hold a committee meeting to vote on three pieces of legislation:

House Resolution 222 would implore Congress to pass legislation to allow concurrent receipt of both military and Veterans Affairs pensions.

House Bill 699 would increase the medical assistance rates for both advanced life support (ALS) and basic life support (BLS) ambulance services. ALS would increase from $200 to $300, and BLS would increase from $120 to $180.

House Bill 984 would extend the sunset date for the Military Family Relief Fund income tax check-off.
