WHAT: Rep. Steve Barrar (R-Chester/Delaware), chairman of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, will conduct a public hearing on legislation which would provide payment for ambulance services that treat, but do not transport, a patient.
WHO: Barrar, members of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, as well as representatives from the Ambulance Association of Pennsylvania, Insurance Federation of Pennsylvania, Highmark, Independence Blue Cross, Capital Blue Cross and the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
