HARRISBURG – Rep. Jim Marshall (R-Beaver/Butler) issued the following statement regarding his budget priorities in response to Gov. Tom Wolf’s annual budget address:
“Today was the first step in the budget process. While I certainly support a budget without tax increases, our robust national economy allows us to make investments in our Rainy Day Fund and reduce the Commonwealth’s debt. Harrisburg has a spending problem, not a revenue problem. We need to focus on reducing spending and borrowing from restricted funds.”
