HARRISBURG – After the governor today in Harrisburg delivered his annual budget address to a joint session of the state House and Senate, state Rep. Kurt Masser (R-Columbia/Montour/Northumberland) issued the following statement:

“Pennsylvania’s state government needs to continually look for ways to reduce expenses while providing quality programs and services for residents. Taxpayers rightfully expect the state to spend their hard-earned dollars efficiently and effectively. State tax dollars are a limited resource and the Commonwealth needs to ensure the money it receives is used responsibly and productively. I’m committed to working with my colleagues to reduce unnecessary expenses while using the Commonwealth’s resources to invest in the future of our citizens.”
