HARRISBURG – State Rep. Gary Day (R-Lehigh/Berks) today issued the following statement after listening to the governor’s annual budget address in Harrisburg:
“My focus is on ensuring state government delivers better results with each and every state tax dollar Pennsylvania already collects. State government needs to continuously look for ways to reduce expenses and streamline processes to deliver efficient programs and services for taxpayers at the lowest possible cost. As chairman of the House Aging and Older Adult Services Committee, I am going to deeply analyze the ways the governor’s budget proposal could help or harm Pennsylvania senior citizens. I am committed to enacting policies and developing programs that help our senior citizens to reach their fullest potential.”
