WHAT: Rep. Steve Barrar (R-Chester/Delaware), chairman of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, will hold a joint public hearing with the Senate Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee to review emergency preparedness and response measures for natural gas/petroleum pipeline infrastructure across Pennsylvania.
WHO: Barrar and members of both committees. Representatives of the following organizations will testify before the committee: Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency, Lycoming County Department of Public Safety, Sunoco and Sunoco Logistics Partners, UGI Energy Services, Associated Petroleum Industries of Pennsylvania, Cleveland Electric Laboratories, Public Utility Commission, PA One Call, Department of Environmental Protection and the Middletown Coalition for Concerned Citizens.
