GROVE CITY – Rep. Tim Bonner (R-Mercer/Butler) announced today that his district office is available and ready to serve the residents of the 8th Legislative District.

“With increasing concerns over COVID-19, I want to assure our citizens that our office is up and running and available to serve constituents in any way possible,” said Bonner. “I look forward to serving the residents of the 8th District and will be a strong voice for them in Harrisburg.”

Bonner is set to be officially sworn into office on April 6 in Harrisburg. He is serving his first term in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives after assuming office following the March 17 special election.

“I look forward to helping Pennsylvania remain a great place to live, work and raise a family,” said Bonner. “I am committed to fighting for a balanced budget, supporting policies that generate and protect family-sustaining jobs, protecting our Second Amendment rights and fighting for the unborn.” 

Prior to his election to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, Bonner, a former prosecutor, also provided legal counsel to Western Pennsylvania residents, businesses and governments. He has served as legal counsel for Mercer County, Grove City, Grove City College, Grove City Medical Center, Sandy Lake, Slippery Rock Boroughand the Slippery Rock Area School District. Bonner has also taught law and government at Grove City College.

Additionally, Bonner served as the Board Chairman of the Grove City Medical Center, now serves on the Board of Directors of Allegheny Health Network, is an Elder at East Main Presbyterian Church in Grove City, was President of the Mercer County Bar Association and a Board Member of Grove City United Way, Grove City Chamber of Commerce, Grove City Revitalization Corporation and the Grove City Industrial Development Corporation. He was selected as the 2019 Grove City Chamber Business Leader of the Year.

The 8th District consists of the Mercer County Boroughs of Fredonia, Grove City, Jackson Center, Mercer, New Lebanon, Sandy Lake, Sheakleyville and Stoneboro as well as the Townships of Coolspring, Deer Creek, Fairview, Findley, French Creek, Jackson, Lake, Liberty, Mill Creek, New Vernon, Perry, Pine, Sandy Creek, Sandy Lake, Springfield, Wolf Creek and Worthin addition to the Butler County Boroughs of Harrisville, Portersville, West Liberty and West Sunbury and the Townships of Brady, Center, Cherry, Clay, Franklin, Marion, Mercer, Muddycreek and Worth.
