Oct. 20, 2020

CHALFONT – The Pennsylvania state House today passed a resolution designating the month of October to careers in construction, said Rep. Todd Polinchock (R-Bucks), who authored the measure.

“Recognizing our careers in construction this month is a great way to recognize and highlight one of our state’s largest industries,” Polinchock said. “Our construction industry is filled with a number of great opportunities for those interested in pursuing the career, although the industry is still facing employment deficits.”

House Resolution 1038 recognizes the month of October 2020 as “Careers in Construction Month” in Pennsylvania.

“I am so thankful for all those employed in the construction industry, they work to make our lives easier. This is the least we could do to show our appreciation for their hard work,” Polinchock said.

“I also would like to thank the Home Builders Association of Bucks & Montgomery Counties for inspiring this resolution and supporting our construction industry,” Polinchock said.
