HARRISBURG – Rep. Rosemary Brown (R-Monroe/Pike) was appointed by Rep. Martin Causer (R-Cameron/McKean/Potter), chairman of the House Majority Policy Committee, to serve as a deputy chairwoman for the committee.
“I am honored to accept the deputy chairwoman position on the House Majority Policy Committee as there are many issues that need to be further examined from across the Commonwealth,” said Brown. “Serving as a member of the House Appropriations, Education, Professional Licensure and Transportation committees, I appreciate the work and detailed information that each of our important committees provides. I look forward to working with Chairman Causer and his committee to provide accurate assessments of statewide issues to the public and the General Assembly which will contribute to making critical policy decisions.”
“These are challenging times for our Commonwealth, and we need the leadership of members like Rep. Brown to ensure we develop the kinds of policies that support economic growth and quality of life in communities throughout the Commonwealth,” Causer said. “I appreciate her commitment to the committee and to the people of Pennsylvania.”
