HARRISBURG – Rep. Gary W. Day (R-Lehigh/Berks), chairman of the House Aging and Older Adults Services Committee, in conjunction with House Majority Leader Rep. Kerry Benninghoff (R-Centre/Mifflin) sent letters to the Wolf administration seeking an update on regulatory and enforcement matters that were changed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Day sent letters to the departments of Aging and Human Services looking for answers about why the governor’s regulatory and statutory suspensions are still in place.

“Time and time again our questions go unanswered from this administration while we have seen our most vulnerable citizens suffer and be taken advantage of,” said Day. “These letters outline our concerns, with numerous questions, as to what is going on within this administration and its departments. I look forward to hearing a thorough and detailed response from both Department of Aging Secretary Robert Torres and Department of Human Services Secretary Teresa Miller.”
