HARRISBURG – State Rep. Brad Roae (R-Crawford/Erie) today in Harrisburg voted for the balanced budget that includes no new or increased taxes and was approved by the state House. Roae issued the following statement after the vote:

“We prevented Gov. Tom Wolf’s proposed multi-billion-dollar tax increase. The budget does not spend $7.5 billion that lawmakers could have spent this year. Many of us insisted on saving some money for future years instead of spending everything now. This budget protects today’s taxpayers by restraining spending and protects tomorrow’s taxpayers by setting money aside for the future.”
