WHAT: Rep. Steve Barrar (R-Chester/Delaware), chairman of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, will hold a committee vote on bills that will impact emergency responders and veterans: 

 •  House Bill 1877 would extend the Volunteer Fire and Emergency Medical Services grant program until June 30, 2020. 
 •  House Resolution 264 would urge Congress to address the health, social and economic needs of female veterans.
