HARRISBURG- Members of the York County House Republican delegation urge the Gov. Tom Wolf to sign the House Bill 1460 which is the full fiscal year budget that was approved by the Senate today.

State Reps. Seth Grove (R-Dover), Kate Klunk (R-Hanover), Kristin Phillips-Hill (R-York Township), Mike Regan (R-Dillsburg), and Stan Saylor (R-Red Lion) issued the following statement in response to the passage of the legislation:

“It’s time for Gov. Wolf to end his budget impasse and sign House Bill 1460, which would provide significant investments in education and address the priorities of Pennsylvanians, without the need for broad-based tax increases. We’d like to thank the members of the Senate for their hard work and for agreeing with members of the House that no additional broad-based taxes are necessary.

“For nearly six months, Pennsylvania has operated without a budget simply because Gov. Wolf wants to raise taxes on hard-working, middle-class Pennsylvanians. The governor has never had support for the taxes to support his spending wish list and this has been demonstrated time and again in the House. It is time for the governor to realize that there is not support for broad-base tax increases and put an end to his budget impasse by signing this budget without delay.”
