WHAT:    The House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee has announced it will hold an informational meeting to discuss maintenance of the Commonwealth’s creeks and streams to help prevent flooding. The package of bills developed based from local testimony offered at the House Majority Policy Committee hearing in Wellsboro last December will be discussed. 

WHO:    Members of the House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee; Rep. Clint Owlett (R-Tioga/Bradford/Potter) and other lawmakers who authored bills in the package; and the following local residents and leaders who will address the committee: Bradford County Commissioner Daryl Miller, Tioga County Commissioner Erick Coolidge, Delmar Township Supervisor Deven Martin, and Tioga County farmers Johnny Painter and Phil Wood.

WHEN:    Monday, April 25, at 9:30 a.m.

WHERE:    Room G-50 Irvis Office Building, State Capitol Complex, Harrisburg.
