House Ag Committee to Consider Bills on Industrial Hemp, Milk Pricing

WHAT: The House Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee, chaired by Rep. Martin Causer (R-Cameron/McKean/Potter), will meet to consider the following bills:

• House Bill 967, sponsored by Rep. Russ Diamond (R-Lebanon), creates an agricultural pilot program for industrial hemp research.
• House Bill 1265, sponsored by Rep. John Lawrence (R-Chester/Lancaster), requires milk dealers to provide the specific dollar amount of state-mandated premium on the written statement that accompanies each payment for milk.
