WHAT:    House Republicans have continually led the way on regulatory reform and getting government out of the way. On Tuesday, House Republican leaders and lawmakers will talk about their latest effort to cut red tape. The event will highlight a package of bills scheduled for House consideration this week that will empower local governments to better maintain their creeks and streams to protect lives and livelihoods from flooding.  

WHO:    Rep. Martin Causer (R-Cameron/McKean/Potter), chairman of the House Majority Policy Committee; Rep. Daryl Metcalfe (R-Butler), chairman of the House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee; Rep. Clint Owlett (R-Tioga/Bradford/Potter), sponsor and coordinator of package of creeks and streams maintenance bills; Daryl Miller, Bradford County Commissioner and president, County Commissioners Association of PA; Deven Martin, supervisor, Delmar Township, Tioga County; and Johnny Painter, Tioga County farmer.
