HARRISBURG – Rep. Frank Farry (R-Bucks) today released the following statement after joining a majority of his House colleagues in voting to send the 2018-19 state budget to the Senate:

“I am encouraged that we are giving our schools additional resources to help prepare our next generation to become the kind of workers, business leaders and professionals that will draw job opportunities to our communities and drive Pennsylvania’s economy forward. With an increase of $100 million, we are putting more state dollars into K-12 education than any state budget in the past and making a historic commitment to Pennsylvania students and their parents. We were able to accomplish this without increased taxes or borrowing.”
