HARRISBURG — State Rep. Kathy Rapp (R-Warren/Crawford/Forest) today voted in support of the $30 billion 2015-16 state spending plan that was advanced by the House on Saturday.
“Compared to the many other proposals I have voted on in previous years, the legislation advanced by the House today is perhaps the most complete, balanced and reasonable budget package I have ever had the opportunity to support,” said Rapp. “Best of all, we have delivered funding for education, human services, and all other core government services with absolutely no unsustainable spending or tax increases.”
The budget bill now heads to state Senate for consideration and is on track to be presented to the governor before the end of the state’s fiscal year on June 30.
