HARRISBURG – Rep. Scott Barger (R-Blair/Huntingdon) today announced his appointment to five House committees for the 2025-26 Legislative Session.
House of Representatives leadership named Barger to the Children and Youth; Commerce; Labor and Industry; State Government; and Tourism and Economic and Recreational Development committees.
“Committees are a first stop for newly introduced legislation and can serve as a clearinghouse to ensure bills are fine-tuned before going to the full House for a vote,” Barger said. “These committees well position me to offer feedback on some of the most important issues affecting Pennsylvanians.”
Barger, a first-term legislator, said he especially welcomes the opportunity to shape legislation affecting vulnerable children and small businesses.
