WHAT: House Commerce Committee Chairman Brian Ellis (R-Butler) announced a voting meeting to consider House Bill 2453, his bill to amend the Check Casher Licensing Act to make updated changes, including license renewal, check cashing terms and penalties. The committee will also consider House Bill 1360, sponsored by Rep. Marguerite Quinn (R-Bucks), which seeks to ensure that funds donated to charitable organizations reach their intended recipient.
