DOVER – Rep. Seth Grove (R-Dover) was joined by two fellow House Republicans in being named State Legislators of the Month for March by the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC). Reps. Eric Nelson (R-Westmoreland) and Barb Gleim (R-Cumberland) also received the honor.

“This dedicated trio has played a vital role in expanding engagement across the Commonwealth — welcoming new voices, strengthening relationships and ensuring legislators have access to policy resources and a national community of peers,” according to the organization. “Their teamwork, strategic outreach and deep commitment to ALEC’s mission have helped foster strong connections between Pennsylvania legislators and the ALEC network.”

Grove, the Republican chairman of the House Labor and Industry Committee, has been a long-time member of ALEC and serves on its board of directors. Nelson is the ALEC public sector state chair and Gleim serves as the Public Sector Task Force chair for the ALEC Education and Workforce Development Task Force.

“I send my many congratulations to Eric and Barb. They have been key members of ALEC, and their hard work is always appreciated,” Grove said. “I look forward to continuing to collaborate with them and all legislators who are on the ALEC team as we champion good governance.”
