HARRISBURG – Rep. Tom Quigley (R-Montgomery) was assigned to serve on four standing House committees during the 2015-16 legislative session. Quigley was assigned to the Consumer Affairs, Education, Finance and Human Services committees.
“To promote economic growth in the Commonwealth, we must offer our youth a strong education,” Quigley said. “I look forward to serving as a member of the Education Committee to ensure that we are best meeting that need and also to help develop a fair funding formula, which is an important priority.”
The committees provide legislative oversight and help shape the language in bills that fall under their areas of responsibility.
