HARRISBURG – Members of the York County Republican Delegation to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, which consists of Reps. Seth Grove (R-Dover), Dawn Keefer (R-Dillsburg), Kate Klunk (R-Hanover) and Keith Gillespie (R-Hellam), today praised the selection of Rep. Bryan Cutler (R-Lancaster) to serve as the new House Majority Leader and the choice of their colleagues to retain Rep. Stan Saylor (R-Red Lion) as the House Appropriations Chairman.
The delegation members issued this statement:
“The York and Lancaster County delegations work very closely together and share many of the same issues – agriculture, school property taxes, unfunded mandates and transportation infrastructure.
“With Rep. Saylor retaining his chairmanship of the important House Appropriations Committee, and Rep. Cutler assuming charge of the Leader’s office, our colleagues have made excellent choices to address the issues with which residents all across the state are concerned.
“We look forward to the next legislative session with these strong leaders and bringing southcentral Pennsylvania fiscal values to the budget negotiation table.”
