HARRISBURG – Rep. Kate Klunk (R-York) was joined by colleagues Tuesday to take their oath of office to serve in the House of Representatives. The 2019-20 session marks Klunk’s third term representing the people of the 169th Legislative District.
“I count myself fortunate to represent the 169th District and my hometown,” Klunk said. “I remain committed to ensuring the people of the district are well represented and heard in Harrisburg.”
Klunk is dedicated to preventing unneeded tax increases on Pennsylvania families while working to curb costs. She will also work to continue and enlarge Pennsylvania’s business growth; support family-sustaining jobs; provide immediate and permanent property tax relief; and improve the quality of our children’s educational opportunities.
“I look forward to continuing the momentum started during the 2017-18 session as we enter the new session,” Klunk said. “Though I expect hard debates and tough decisions to be made, I am confident both sides can work together to move Pennsylvania forward.”
